About Dr. Jaylene

Dr. Jaylene’s journey into pelvic health began during her doctoral training at Northwestern University, where she saw firsthand the life-changing impact pelvic floor physical therapy can have for women. After working in specialty clinics in Chicago and Tennessee, she realized something was missing in the way care was often delivered: time, attention, and genuine connection.

That realization — combined with her own experience of becoming a mom — led her to open Female Foundations. Her vision was simple: to create a place where women feel seen, heard, and fully supported in their health. At Female Foundations, every patient is treated one-on-one, with care that is tailored, evidence-based, and rooted in partnership. Jaylene is passionate about raising the standard for women’s healthcare and ensuring that her patients know they are not alone on their journey.

Jaylene has advanced training in women’s health, including pelvic floor dysfunction, obstetric physical therapy (pregnancy, postpartum, and labor & delivery), interstitial cystitis, and cancer-related care. She holds the Certified Advanced Practice Physical Therapist in Obstetric Health (CAPP-OB) designation and is also certified in dry needling.

Outside of the clinic, Jaylene loves strength training, biking, and spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and their dog. She’s also an avid baker (yes, even sourdough), enjoys crafting, and can occasionally be found with a knitting project in hand.

Abby is the cheery voice heard on the phone and the warm smile you encounter behind the desk. Abby and her husband, Marty have two sweet boys– Willie Kai and Shiloh. She has a heart for loving and serving others in everything she does. In her free time, Abby enjoys working out, playing games, cooking, and baking for family and friends. Fun fact– she is not a coffee drinker, but she absolutely loves kombucha!
